Ashe Memorial Hospital is a 25 critical access bed facility, dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care available to the people of Jefferson and Ashe County, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. This facility has earned a number of national awards and recognition such as The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is affiliated with the Novant Stroke Program. A 13-bed Emergency Department opened in October 2016.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
